Welcome to the NZMAA website

The New Zealand Model Aeronautical Association (NZMAA) is a non-profit body dedicated to the promotion and protection of Aeromodelling in New Zealand.

There has been a lot of discussion on the NZMAA Newsgroup lately regarding promotion. Especially in regard to the proposal to change the Association Name. Special Notice regarding Futaba

Site Updates After the nationals there are always a lot of rule changes and the rule books need to be updated. The new rules become official on publication of notification in the Model Flyers World. The web site is updated as the Competition Manager updates the rule books. This year there are changes to Control Line, Soaring and Vintage. The Vintage and Control line Rule books have now been updated on the website and are available to download from the respective SIG's pages.

New Website for MANZ MANZ have set up their own website there is a link on the Large Model SIG page or go to it from here.

60th NZMAA Nationals The 60th NZMAA Nationals are now over. The weather was great and by all accounts a good time was had by all. The flypapers are all loaded onto the 60th Nats homepage. Click here to go straight to the 60th Nats page to read the news.  The 2008/9 Nats will be held in Balclutha look for more details later this year.

Free Flight There's always heaps going on with the Free Flight Scene in New Zealand not the least of which is the Kotuku Cup in Omarama. Head to the Free flight page for the latest information.

The Vintage plan loan database has over 700 plans listed! Also the price of a "loan" is a very reasonable $5.
